Califon trout 2/12
 

Headed up to califon to beat up on some trout and that I did,I went to the darkside today and used garlic salmon eggs and for febuary fishin was excellent.Picked up a bakers dozen of browns and bows nothin big today but good steady action,all trout were caught in the same generally area.They were holding in about 2feet deep tailouts nothing in the slow deep water like last weekend when they were holed up in deep runs. Spring was in the air as the geese were all over the river gettin ready to get busy,also found a dead frog that must have came out to early.

LOL! Very true, but who cares?! Tell them "Orvis called, they were looking for you to get lost!" - if upset!

Should have put that frog on a hook to see if there were any lunker browns around!
