Swartswood Contest, Iff!! 2-17
 
Contest is on for this coming sunday up at Swartswood Lake. Anybody interested in joining me? It was on this past sunday but I couldn't make it. Anybody interested? 25 bucks to get in for non members. PM, text or give me a call if your in. Lets get em boyz! TIGHT LINES!!!:D

As of this past sunday, there was 5-6 inches all around. Pretty sure it will hold up for this sunday. Fishing was slow for the first leg of the contest. 3.74 lb pickerel is in the lead for the grand prize, $500 STRIKEMASTER POWER AUGER!!!!!!!!!:D

Mikey got in touch with me to fish your lake Sunday. I was all in as of Saturday morning. By Saturday night, I was out unfortunately. Woke up with the DAM FLU around 3 am Sunday morning. It only lasted 24 hours but it was the worst 24 hours I've had in years. Anyway looks like you fellas had a great time and caught some nice fish. I havnt been out in 3 weeks. We had a great turnout with 70 anglers joining us on the water, many of whom, joined us for the weigh in and awards ceremony at the Boat House.

Here are the results:
Junior Division-
1st - Avery Geklinski - 20 3/8" - 8 1/4" girth - 1.86# - pickerel
2nd- Hunter Kitchell - 19" - 8 3/4" girth - 1.84# - pickerel
3rd - Andrew Bork - 19 7/8" - 7 7/8" girth- 1.66# - pickerel

Senior Division-
1st - Scott Cooper - 24 1/4" - 11 1/4" girth - 3.74# - pickerel
2nd - Dave Armstrong - 23 1/4" - 10 5/8" girth - 3.22# - pickerel
3rd - Matt VanDermark - 17" - 11 3/4" girth - 3.02# - large mouth bass
Largest Panfish - Tim Soja Sr. - 12 3/4" - 10 1/2" girth - 1.32# - crappie

Walleye very hard to come by threw the ice at Swartswood. I think 1 eye has been weighed in over the last 5 years. Very strange.
