sailed w 13 people, stayed close to the beach, bite was almost non existent. Few shorts here and there only 1 keeper for the paying fares(kenny n chris had a few keepers). Few guys had Hermits and they did nt even help. Seems the fish are in deeper water.

We tried about 5 different spots most were the same result

Seems like with the temperature drop after this cold snap, that was going to be a forgone conclusion. Surprised you didn't push out to deeper water.

I don't think the weather was permitting. I heard it was blowing pretty good out there.

Kenny and chris probably caught fish for everyone.lol they know how to work them on a few spots a day. Cold as hell probably shut the bite. Ice fishing time.lol

Any talk from the Captain of going deeper? Heard he was fishing shallow and was said, the bite was not good. Was thinking of going tomorrow...not sure.

Fish are definetly out deeper. Look at OE report for sunday.

He did nt really say anything about going deep, but I saw the OE report and was definitely 2nd guessing myself, But u just never know, could have been the other way around, and I still had a good time.
