Any blackfish boats sailing tomorrow?

Would like to hop on one but am having a hard time finding a boat that's going.

Teddy, last several times I've been out for Tog have been a total bust. May want to save your coin until you see some good reports. Personally, I'm done with BF for the season, too many frustrating trips.

I'm not a very good tautog fisherman. Not even for ling. My record amount of ling is 12 caught on the Bingo in the Summer of 2012. I'm good with fluke. But not with last fluke season. It was terrible for me in NJ. 5 keeper fluke caught in 8-10 fishing trips. But that's better than nothing. Even then, I did well up in Rhode Island. I caught 6 fluke in 3 trips. In one of those I caught my biggest fluke. Even then, only 8 1/2 pounds. That seems very big but a lot of you have yours around 12-16 pounds. Looks like I have to go more fluke and ling fishing. And definitely tautog fishing and striper fishing. Never caught a striper. Only 2 or 3 short tautog in my life. With ling, usually it's eels and dogfish. I'll try breaking my records. It'll take time.

@TDaly25

Nice fluke there in your picture. How big is it? By me looking at it, it looks like 12-16 pounds.

@TDaly25

Thanks for telling me. My biggest is 8 1/2 pounds caught off of Block Island, RI. But you have a nicer fluke.

@Tropics

Okay. I'll try using squid. Anything good for 10+ pound fluke? Maybe snappers would work.
