Offshore SeaBass Jigging Question
If 16oz is the average weight to bait fish for SeaBass. And from what I read 7oz jigs work best on the seabass when jigging offshore how are you guys setting up jig rigs for the additional weight? Or are you just sending down a heavier jigs. Any recommendation would be helpful.

Re: Offshore SeaBass Jigging Question
Most common jigs are prob 6-8 oz hammered jigs.
Start with the lighter ones and go heavier as needed. |

Re: Offshore SeaBass Jigging Question
No additional weight, just send ANY roughly 8 ounce jig down and proceed to reel up your 5lb sea bass in a couple of seconds.

Re: Offshore SeaBass Jigging Question
You guys have any experience with hammered jigs with glow finish. Are they producers when it comes to the sea bass??

Re: Offshore SeaBass Jigging Question
Add a couple of teasers and catch them 2 or 3 at a time!
