Just for fun cod jig
 

Made this jig up as a joke as I am going cod fishing any day now for the first time ever. I cut a 1/2 inch electrical conduit pipe at 5 inches. Crimped the end and then pressed the entire piece into an oblong,(oval) shape. Filled with lead and crimped the other end. drilled some holes , sanded and put into the oven for 15 minutes. Had to use the brush method on the entire thing, super glow white with pink back. Tied up a treble with white tail and some flash and then using an old wig that I stole from my daughter I reversed the direction on the treble to get this squid look. All for fun but I think it may catch. Jig weighs in at 10 oz.

And a fall bass 2oz bucktail. Glow white base , chart., olive and black back with a red chin.
