From my guide I use on the upper Big D.

12/8 32’’ Musky caught on 6lb. test line with a jig/minnow, Wow!

I guess he was walleye fishing.

Bait? I have caught pike bigger than that through the ice with fresh bite marks ;) . I only use bait up to 18" though.

Chunky fish. Have heard of a few guys jigging up Muskie on light tackle lately.

That is a fat little fish for only being 32 inches. I may try to see if I can find one of them in the Big D this weekend. River fishing for muskies can be really good this time of year.
