Happy Bird Day pike
I didn't have enough time to take my kayak to this spot, but I wish I did. The 20 minute walk to this spot was amazing. First cast was a solid 28 inch pike and then for the next hour, it was either a pike, a strike or a missed strike. I don't even want to say how many fish I lost, but it was way too many.
Finished up with 5 landed and of course the biggest lost near the shore trying to pull him out of the weeds, which almost resulted in a spinner bait to the head. Besides the first pike all the rest were in the low 30's. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!! http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...n/IMGP0410.jpg http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...IMGP0415-1.jpg |

Nope, all caught with the same chartruse/white spinner bait. There must be weeds on the spinner bait in that picture. Thanks guys and hope everyone had a great day! Danny V |

Nice Dan. I was out for a bit yesterday and got a couple too. Nothing big though, average 24" fish. Glad to see you're still getting some size with yours.
