Want to purchase fresh clams for bait and have shipped to Upstate NY...
 

Here is a question, fellas....

I reside in Upstate New York (Fingerlakes area), and when I am not cruising down to NJ to go deep sea fishing I have been making some trips out to New England to go fishing for cod, sea bass, haddock, etc.

I am not overly impressed with the quality of the clams that they provide on the boats in New England, so much lesser quality than what I am used to on the J, J II, Paramount, Gambler, Voyager, etc etc....

My question... does anyone know how I can have quality clams shipped to me in Upstate NY just prior to my departure for New England, so I can take my own bait with me? I am not an expert on this issue for sure, and the freshness/quality of the bait is my primary concern.
