Hi water, trout
 

Kicked of fall / winter troutin today! Water on one of my fav NJ trout streams was hi discolored & levy .
In the AM the wind was blowing thus many leaves to fish thru . Spent limited time about four hrs. Managed three all mid size browns.
Water temp 60 , water high & stocking is around the corner.
A month from now it will be hot fishing, once they acclimate good winter fishing will follow until water temps cut me off!!
