Rainy Day Bassin

Had the day off so I decided to hit the shed for a few hours. Luckily the rain held off most of the time. And when it did rain, it didn't last long. The water was low, really low, which made the walkin easier

First area I hit was dead but as soon as I relocated I hooked up with a nice chunky smallie and the kept goin from there. Fished for a couple hours and ended up with with 3 smallies, 1 lmb, and a couple perch. Not the most picture perfect day to be out but the action was good!! Good size and strong fighters!!!

Looks like you still got some so it makes for a good day on the water(or lack of!!).....Haven't been there this year due to lack of rain.......WOW, is all I can say after seeing these pix....The places we fish(all in the same area are extremely low, but not like this....That place is so usually on fire this exact time of year....Last year after they re-opened the road for access after Irene, me and my buddies hit it every day for the last 2 weeks b4 they closed it for the year and had 60+ fish days every day(That was of course also due to the fact no one was able to have access from July-October.... Dan and I were gonna hit it tomorrow, but we may have 2nd thoughts after seeing this....

nice job on the bass, especially from shore. I cant beleive its that low, was there last month and stuff was barely showing. The shed in the middle was low 2 weeks ago but has a nice drop off so I had no problems launching there, sucks they dont fix the ramps up a little like echo, I heard that is up past normal full this week, looks like they are draining them down into echo again.....
