fishing the big D tonight
 

finaly after 6 days of very muddy and high water I decided to fish tonight for smallies well nothing! not a bite no rises on the water and very little shad action! I fished with #1 favorite tube jig, small top water popper and a rattletrap 1/4 oz. plus a white 1/4 oz. Red Fin [very old lure] so basically thru all my tricks at them for 2 hrs. nothing! not good for this time of year!

Got the skunk myself tonight. Shore fished the Passaic for two hours. Didn't break out the livers, but, no strikes on anything I threw. Must be the calm before the storm, lol.......

Guess im going to have to switch over and start fishing for Catfish and Stripers at night with chicken livers myself!
