Greenwood lake

1 Attachment(s)
Went out the other day and trolled some crankbaits in 15-20 feet of water, the lake was swamped, boats everywhere wont be going out there or hopatcong till after labor day. Anyway if you can deal with all the crazy boat traffic there is fish to be caught. Managed a couple of smallies in the 2 lbs range, a few crappie, perch and sunnies and got into these two bad boys, 6.5 lbs and 6.3.

Yea th fish seemed to be in the 15 foot range but right next to deep water dropoffs. Fishing can be real tough with these high temps., and on top of that you have the heavy boat traffic. You are def. right andy I started fishing greenwood lake last oct. nov. and what a diff. it is out there feels like a totally dif. lake. I reccomend to northjerzyg that if you do finally have time to get out on greenwood wait till the fall if you can way less traffic and more active fish.
