Protecting the Jersey Shore from Drilling for Oil

Here is a petition to save the Jersey Shore from drilling for oil. Which sucks big time if this actually happens! I already signed it. I hope others do too.

Lots of fish are caught on the oil rigs in the Gulf...... FAD?????

I'm sure I am going to get a lot of heat from this but......

I say drill drill drill...... lets use our own oil and stop being heald hostage to the Saudi oil. Do I want an oil spill??? Hell no! I do think that it can be safetly done with strict regulation.

Hey giant,
no heat from me. I have been saying drill baby drill, for years. I would be a hypocrite to say drill, just not here. If it is done safely, I say do it. While we are at it, lets build another refinery or two, that is also the problem. There is plenty of oil, but the tree huggers have not let us build a new refinery in over 30 years!

Over 3000 drill site in the Gulf a very small percentage of spills and everyone panics. I say drill baby drill. We can really use the oil and the jobs it will create. Win Win!!:) :)

Im for drilling.. only if its US companies that are doing the drilling and selling of the oil..

Only downside is a spill which can reek havoc on the jersey coast line and disrupt major shipping ports.

There are pro/cons to both arguments..

Drill.. those platforms and rigs will create a fishing bonanza as well.. You would have big game sportfisherman spending a fortune in the Garden state...

Drill Drill Drill!! Plus all those jobs it would create. Win win the way I see it. Also how would this effect state revenue?
