Any lakes in Bergen County which rent boats?

Are there any lakes or reservoir in Bergen County where you can rent a boat to fish? Thanks.

Not that I know of. Closest rental is probably at Shepard Lake, not too far over the border in Passaic County.

X2

They used to rent them at Darlington Park, but that was a 100 years ago.
I see now that some Bergen County parks charge a entrance fee:eek:
Guess the taxes are not high enough:rolleyes:
Glad I moved out when I did.

Wilson, you are one funny dude. :) Tax kept going up and up - been living in Bergen over 15 years. Waiting for my little one to finish high school so I can move out. :)

I just hate fishing at the Oradell now - water is too hot and I can't get to the deep water. Any good place to go bass fishing close to Bergen County?

Try the passaic I've been catching em even in the middle of the day when its high 90s out. I heard there's descent fishing in the haledon reservoir but I've went a few times and just can't seem to get anything.

Basspilot, when you say "Passaic", where exactly are you referring to? do I need a boat? What kind of bait this time of the year?

That place is worse than Skunksville.
