Blank question

I am looking at 2 blanks for an all around inshore rod. The 2 are seeker GTS70 15-30 and Phenix PS700M 15-40. I like to build my own so i am just looking for opinions on the 2.
I will be matching with an Avet SX and acid wrapping the guides.
Thanks in advance
FA

I agree with Lefty, the model # is INS70L It is a Seeker Hercules, and it can do it all.

See above. Mine is 7'. Best all around inshore rod I've ever used.

If I could only own one rod it would be the seeker inshore light.

Inshore lite is a great blank. Gts70L or Ins70L are the same blank, Seeker changed the model number.

I've used the Phenix extensively in the 7"6" & 7" model , light , powerful & suitabl tapers for multiple uses.
The 7'6" my go to Tog rod!

Re: Blank question

Seeker is a proven product, but Phenix seems to be doing one hell of a job lately. I have zero experience with Phenix, but have been hearing good things about them. All depends on what you want. The Phenix line up is very similar to the old G-Loomis tapers that we all fell for years ago. Tough choice here to be honest, but in the end, I dont think you can go wrong with either choice.

Or, do what I do.........build both!! :D

Thanks for the opinions and information! I was leaning toward the seeker, but now i am convinced. I would love to build them both, but the budget just does not allow it. Now i just have to figure out guides.
