First Conversion

Well it took a little while, but I finally finished converting one of my Penn 4/0s.

It has:

1.Stainless Gear Sleeve

2.Pro Gear Power Handle- Black

3. Pro Gear Drag Star-Red

4. Carbontex Drags

5. Tiburon Topless Frame- Red

I think it is a nice start. I kept the Maganese-Bronze Main Gear, Penn Pinion Gear, and Bakelite sideplates in with this one. I installed the shims for the nuts of the rod clamp wrong, easy fix.

I am going to do another conversion of my other 4/0 too. This time it will be an Accurate conversion that is narrowed.

Nice job snapper. Good luck with it! The only thing I would have changed, if you don't already have it, would be a stainless steel yoke. Cool hot rod now.

Looks great. I just souped up my baja special with an upgraded knob and a custom one of a kind extended handle arm (thanks Fin-s!) Going to put it through the paces on some tiles in a few weeks.
