I was there today with my 3 year old. I've never been to a hatchery so it was fun. I hung around the "How to catch a Musky demo" for a while, but he didn't catch one. He was throwing some HUGE lures and he was giving some good info.

Here we are at the kiddy fishing tub. I felt bad for those Trout in there.

I went on Saturday. My wife liked it better than Pequest. My 4 year old daughter caught a catfish and loved it. Also saw some big pike or musky in one of those earthen ponds. Thing was longer than my 2 year old.

It was a good day. I hope they open it up again.

i was there sunday afternoon. quite nice. like the pequest open house, but with lots more fish. didn't seem to me that there were as many vendors as there usually are at pequest though.

from the looks of all of the informational display signs and new concrete walkways and viewing platforms that they added around the grounds, it seems like they are planning on having the facility open to people more than just this once.

Great photos. I'm hoping someday a few of those fish will find a home in the Raritan river.

I could use that boat to see what else is in the Raritan.
