A rare Wilson Report - Delaware 5/13

Hit the D around 9:30 AM solo on my way to do the mothers days thing in Yardley.
Fishing on the ramp by the flea market. Caught a 12 " Striper on the first cast and proceded to hook a few more Stripers, 3 Wallys to 17" and a nice Shad that shook the hook. All this in less then an hour.

Lots of fish boiling all around until Mr. Douchebag in his kayak launched and paddled 10 feet in front of me and the fish. There was like 300 yards of room for him but he's gotta go right in front of me:mad:
No fish caught after that:eek:
Saw some other guy take 2 short Wallys, even after I told him so.
Great day for a short hit and run.

Well a quick process of elimination I don't own a kayak so I'm not Mr Douchebag. :p Another reason I avoid the big lake at RVR during the summer on weekends, you can quikcly tell the kayak fisherman that know what they're doing from the doofuses on kayaks with fsihing rods trying to look like they know what they're doing.

Great quick-hitting mixed bag Wilson.

Nice mixed bag Wilson. Always good fishing in the area of that ramp. Did the fish hit bait or artificials? No pics today?

Another Mugging? Oh no! You should of 'accidently' made a bad cast with a two ounce sinker. The message would of been noticed and understood.

Wow, lots of replies and questions.
I was fishing some Rapala's I had laying around, one floating the other sinking.
The sinking one was hot for the walleys, the floater was good for the stripers.
The Shad hit a Andy S. brown hair jig.
Tried Panthers for about 15 minutes not a sniff.

No pictures because I left my camera in the truck and was too lazy to get it.:p

Mr Douchbag and Mr. Poacher; we all have met them at one time or another.

And F.E. your the animal! Get your motor fixed yet? You owe me a boat fishing trip:)
