BFB 5/5 noodling big browns
3 Attachment(s)
Went to fish some new water today with outofline,we made the trek to the flat brook.Got there around 5:30 to find it packed like was opening day with a bunch of goobers. We bypassed the melee at the roy bridge and went to work covering about 2 miles or better of some really nice water.Put the steel to around 30 or so fish today with most your average stockies and a few 18-20 inch brookies and bows.Highlight of the day was standing in about 6" of water and spooking a huge brown that was huging the undergrowth, the fish spun around and bolted into some roots I put my hand in ther and grabbed him.We put the fish on the stringer but after a few moments we sent her on her way.

The head on the brown is humongus, he should be 7lbs, he looks stunted, how long was he? about? A old timer told me once, your first cast/drift should be the the cut right in front of you if possible.
