Opening Weekend The Bad and the Good
 

Saturday morning I fished a strech of the South Branch that I never fished before. I covered about 1/2 mile of the stream along with about 50 other anxious fishermen. I only saw 2 trout caught in this entire strech.:( Once again I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Sunday morning I went out to try to redeem myself. I fished Mulhockaway Creek and caught 4 rainbows:) , lost one and missed a lot of hits. Fish were caught on worms and meal worms because I missed alot of hits with the power bait. Not a bad weekend. Nicest opening day weather I have seen in a long time.

The Mulhockaway is one of my favorite streams, always holds fish. Good job!
