Fishing near Lincoln Park

I am looking to take my 4 year old daughter fishing. She keeps asking to go. She likes when we hike behind the Community Lake. Has anyone fished that lake or the lake behind it? It has to have some sunfish it there, but are there anything else? Was kind of curious if any trout that are stocked in the Pompton River end up in there from the floods. I know it is deep as it used to be a sand pit back in the day.

If it were just me fishing I would try the Passaic for pike or small mouth but she isn't as patient.

You are referring to Pia Costa Lake.... that lake has Northern Pike, Pickeral, Largemouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Yellow Perch, sunfish, bulls and cats.. I have caught a few 3 to 4 lb largemouth bass and a couple 26" Pike....
