Lehigh river skunk

Some fish rising, a few swirls and nothing to show for it except a couple follows, one a big azz brown. Threw everything, various rapalas, spinners, pin minnows.

Somehow I have a feeling worms would have done the trick.

Probably had more follows then the 2 but didn't have my contacts and polarized glasses so couldn't see much into the water.

Re: Lehigh river skunk

One thing I am finding weird is no smallies. I catch plenty of smallies about a mile below this spot later in the year so I am sure they are there but not a one. Are they all holed up some where?

A fishing guide at a fishing show was telling me this happens on the susquahanna river so I imagine they find a nice warm area and huddle up...
