does anyone use these for stocked trout.

yes, white 2" mr. twister on a 1/16 oz. jighead worms like a charm. they are much cheaper than inline spinners and can be fished in deeper water with varied retrieves.

Lard uses them all the time for Trout and catches Pickerel!

I totally agree. However, I've gone as light as a 1/64 oz. jighead for a more natural drift. I try natural colors like pumpkinseed when the white isn't producing.

I've had some luck with them at RVR (5 rainbows in one day once) and on the North Branch.

A 1/16 oz jighead with a 2" triple-ripple tail in either pumpkinseed or watermelon green.
