Where'd you launch from? I'm taking my boater safety class next week and plan on taking my canoe and trolling motor into the river the week after. Problem is, I only know of one possible launch spot. Lookin for others. It's tough cause I need two parking spots, car and trailer, if its on the road. Or a parking lot........

Hey Gerzy, im not really sure if where i parked was legal? it was my first time there so i kinda just found a spot near the bridges i could park and dragged the yak in.

I wonder if you're refering to my silver civic. I was there in the afternoon. I was just checking the place out but did manage to land one 14 in pike on a smithwick rogue. Not sure where you parked but if in doubt I would call the local PD and ask if you are parked in an illegal area or at the very least ask if it is ok for you to leave your vehicle there. It can't hurt to ask;) . I would rather find out by calling than leaving your vehicle somewhere only to find it out it has been towed away when you paddle back.

Nice work on the pike

Yeah, I was not on 2bridges, was on the other side near the park on camp lane... little mess to get down there (busted knee on slippery slope = bad idea!) but it's a nice little piece of shoreline to fish..

And yeah, heed parking signs. At least if you park and can't get to your car, you'll be able to paddle the yak to the po station... ;)
