Crappie Madness

1 Attachment(s)
Rode my bike to Farrington lake this morning and started fishing by 7. By 10:30 i caught 47 crappies, 2 golden shiners and a sunny. All were on a white/chartruse trout magnet under a bobber. I coulda caught over 100 if i stayed till sundown but it slowed down by 10:30 and i already reached my bag limit by that point, so i didnt want the fish to sit out for hours until the afternoon bite. This was a new personal record for me, quantity wise. :D

Crusty, you can ride your bike to Farrington, huh? I live right down the street from Church St. bridge. I drive a Red Jeep Liberty, so if you see a guy with a piece of steel in his lebret (spelling), and wearing a UCONN hat, stop by and say hello. I go over there on my lunch hour (2-3) every now and then as well.

Watch where you park. got kicked off the side of church lane yesterday by town police no big deal just a threat of a ticket and move of the truck to a side parking lot.

I pulled up just after the cop left. I should've realized it when I saw all the cars in the parking lot!
