Big D 2/18/12:
Wilson and I hit a spot FE turned us onto 1st, just wasn't feeling it there.
We moved back over to the NJ side and a little up river to what I call the "Wilson spot." Started chuckin' big stuff and I got a nice brown trout within the first 15 minutes. We worked over the area pretty good, I switched back and forth between big stuff and small stuff, fast water and deep holes. After a few hours there we packed it in and hit another spot down river for about an hour, no love there. Water was gin clear and we had a bald eagle circling over head for a while, great weather for late February. We were fishing in the Easton P-burg area. Getting a head start on the browns, 2 months till our float trip on the upper Delaware in NY. |
