Tuesday afternoon, caught (Yo-Zuri Magnet Pin Minnow baby trout pattern) & kept, a 27”, 7 lb. 1 oz. RVTA tagged rainbow, wading RVR’s

eastern shoreline, near campsite # 60. It hit fairly close to shore, & then took off,……..taking out some drag,……after it tired, the westerly winds helped in

landing it. Late last winter / early spring, in the same general area, I hooked, but lost a similarly large rainbow right at the shoreline. The largest trout that I ever caught.

Nice job. Campsite 60....that's a long walk from the parking lot:)

Was thinking the same thing, l o n g walk in waders. Is that near the campers swimming area?

Great catch! I'm taking some days off from work this week aan am looking to hit the shoreline myself. Hope I can be half as lucky with a 3.5 pounder :p
