North Branch 12/21/11 - It's not over yet!
 

Decided to use my last sick day of the year to go after some late season trout. I worked a stretch of the North Branch between the AT&T facility and the fair grounds in Far Hills. A lot of walking, but I managed two very nice trout on a purple jerkbait, one rainbow and one brookie. The rainbow was kind of lazy, but the brookie hit and fought hard. Both looked very healthy.

Both fish were caught pretty far from any bridges. There are still fish around if you're willing to work for them.
