Lower South Branch 12/4:
 

Lard and I hit the lower South Branch around 9am. Lard connects with a jumbo rainbow on his 3rd cast ! I follow shortly with a rainbow and a brookie. Thought we could do no wrong but after a few more stops including Duke Island Park falls, we went from heros to zeros ! At least we had a few fish first thing this morning. Water and flows were great, fished some real fishy spots today, just the luck of the draw.

The rainbow taped out at a hair under 20 inches. I'll take that any day, especially in December.

Andy's camera was on the fritz (thank god!) so the photography duties fell to me. Check out some hefty late season trout below!

The sun doesn't rise and set in the KLG !!! Plenty of great spots.
