Waywayanda Water Level?

1 Attachment(s)
Does anyone know what's up with the water level at Waywayanda lake? I went yesterday and the lake is several feet down. In the attached pic, the dark line on the rocks is the usual water line. This seems really odd given all the rain we've had. Fish weren't biting either...

Sometimes the reason to drop a lakes water level is weed control .dam problems or some other type repair required that requires this water to be dropped for work purposes!

also they often drop the level to prepare the lake for spring runoff.

Spoke to a buddy of mine this morning who fishes there often.

Level was lowered to make upgrades to the launch ramp. New concrete slabs are being moved in.

They aniticipate having the work completed by 11/1 and will start raising the water level at that time.

that's great to hear. i noticed that the ramp was in really poor shape when i was up there for september resident goose season. and that the work should be complete before november migratory goose season opens up? even better
