bass fishing at turkey swamp today with not even a nibble. tried everything from hula popper, roadrunners, jigs, soft plastic shads, wacky worms and so on. the action was dead, except for lots of crappies and sunnies jumping around. last time i went was 3 weeks ago, the lake was full of lily pads and was getting strikes every other cast. now all the vegitation died and the fish seem gone. :confused:

turkey swamp got flooded really bad....water was almost in the boat rental shack...I camped and fished there last weekend and only got a few sunnys...seems it never recovered after the storms.

oh thanks ;) never knew that it was that bad. thats why i was doing good BEFORE the hurricane.

I got skunked at Manasquan res today. Rented a row boat, and didnt get a bite. Bummer man since everyone says they kill over there.
