FYI: Clinton Reservoir Launch / Clinton Road Closed

Found this at the intersection of Clinton Road and Van Orden Road last night. Anybody know what happened to the launch or the road leading to it? I am wondering if it was the bridge right by the launch that might be out.

Anyway, just a heads up for any other NWCDC permit holders thinking about heading out.

Thanks for the info. I will call the office on tuesday to see why the road is closed. Iwill post any information I get.

I just gave the NWCDC a call about it and they said that the boat launch is closed because the town has closed the road due to washouts from Irene (no surprise). The lady I spoke with did not know more specifically where the damaged sections were. They do not expect it to be open again until next season. :( Shore fishing is still OK (w/ permit).
