Headed west this morning for a change of scenery and ended up at my favorite section of the south branch.Water was high and dirty,so I wasnt expecting much.Tossed around some of my favorite lures without a touch then switched to a orange bellied minnow and it was game on.Picked away at browns all morning from 8-13 inches,fish were very aggressive.Attachment 40788

Was reading on another site that the road was destroyed. By the looks of those pixs I'd say it is too. I hope they keep it that way. |

Nice. Looks like the lower evening temps and influx of cool water from the storm is giving trout fishing a shot in the arm.
