Conditions of North Jersey Streams???

Since the rivers look like chocolate milk, I've decide to make the trip up north to check out some strem fishing spots. I know I want to stop at the Black river but also some others near by. Has anyone seen or fished any? What are the conditions like? I hope not dirty and high but with all this rain its to be expected.

I was by the Rahway today, which usually gets pretty effed. It wasn't great, but it looked fishable. Water data says that Passaic is pretty high. I talked to Chris_JC who was in the South Branch all day yesterday. He caught lots of smallies and didn't complain about the water being to high or muddy. Hope that helps.
