Pompton River mixed bag 7/26
 

Decided to stay local today and throw the kayak in the Pompton River for a little bit after work today. Got on the water around 6pm and had some luck. Landed a few Smallies, the biggest being about 17" (see picture). Also landed a Rock Bass, a few Sunnies, and a Yellow Perch, all on a 4" wacky rigged Senko.

After I got my Senko fix out of the way, I threw on a white spinnerbait in hopes of a Pike. Had 1 follow from a Northern, but turned away at the boat.

Big storms came and I landed the boat just as the rain started.

I have not...tons of crayfish though..
