Rainbow Lake 7/1
 

After my terrible vacation to OC, we hit Rainbow Lake this morning. Started out good with a decent bite on topwaters then we switched to jigging Mr Twisters. We had 22 fish in 4 1/2 hours. We fished from 4:45 am to 9:15 am. Big fish of the day was a 3lb. largemouth that I caught on a popper. Also nailed a PB 2 lb. crappie on the same popper. Old PB was also out of Rainbow Lake. Overall it was a good morning of fishing, just wish we could have found some bigger schools of crappie.
