A little bit of warm weather, largemouth bass, a crazy striper run and people forget all about the trout streams.

I would go, but early in the am. Let us know if you go.

funny you should ask- went out this evening and got one rainbow on nightcrawler- that was it (not including bluegills and rock bass)but missed a few more hits. however- did see about an 8# trout trying to jump up the falls- needless to say he didn't make it and i know where he lives;) . fished the rockaway river.

The weather for Sat. looks a little iffy with T. Storms.
Hope we do get some rain, it will stir up the fish.
Like Andy said, go at O'dark thirty and plan to be done by 10 AM.
If this hot trend continues stream Trout fishing will be history in NJ till next year;)

Fished the South Branch this past Friday and got 3 rainbows and one brown on worms and one on a blue fox spinner. Only fished for an hour and then got stuck in traffic on my way home. Fished an area near an old YMCA campsite. Good luck if you decide to go out.

Paulinskill in knowlton has lots of fish, caught 6 and saw another 10 caught and released, all on flies

Got a couple at Echo lake this morning on meal worms. Nothing to brag about. HOT out!
