Launched the boat around 7am, parked the truck and while walking back the sky opened up. Lightning flashes made the Rangers close the Res for about 45 minutes. Finally got to fishing and picked up the first bass after 6 casts on a pink sluggo twitched through the standing timber. Back to the ramp at 9:30 to pickup my brother and nephew. Nightcrawlers caught the little guy a bunch of Sunnies while we boated another 7 bass between us on tubes and sencos. Done at 1pm.

Can't wait to go back. Great time out on the water. 1 thing ive noticed different about the Squan lately is how clear the water has been. You could be sittin on 10 ft of water but it looks more like 3ft, and lots of life around.
