North Branch 5/22/11
 

Cold, damp miserable day. I cancelled our saltwater trip this am. So off trout fishing I went. The water is still high and discolored some. Caught my first two fish on a TOP SECRET spoon I buy at Walmart. The other three were caught on butterworms and nightcrawlers. The fish were finicky today. Lots of short bites. Not much catching like I did yesterday.
Stopped on the way home at a diner and had hot chicken soup. That was the warm up ticket.
