S/B - Musky - S/B
Hit the S/B this morning with Shucker as Andy was after river monsters and then his kids hockey game.
Guess we were on the water by 7 AM, with a pretty good turnout of other fisherman. Fished worms, CD-3's and an assortment of spinners. All worked fairly well and I guess between the two of us we landed 20 or more. Browns, Rainbows, and a couple Brooks. Some of the Browns where feisty and jumpy. Met Longball Larry (he recogonized me from the board ) at the Musky after we split the S/B. He was doing pretty good fishing Power Cheese. Water was pretty fast but not too muddy. Fair amount of other fishermen there as well. Gave it about 1/2 hour and split to the Clinton Falls. Both of us picked a few more and it was time to head back home. Good day with little wind and only a few sprinkles. No fish pixs today...you all seen stocked Trout b-4. That Shucker is a fishing machine;) Saw a goose sleeping on one leg not 15 feet from me. Oh and Andy you still want to canoe the Raritan:eek: :D |

Re: S/B - Musky - S/B
Nice job on the trout.
North Branch looked crowded today too. When I drove past it around 6 AM I counted 5 cars already parked along Route 22. Yesterday at the same time I was the only one out there. |

That goose kept Shucker and I from crossing the river! Had to walk to the falls and cross there! Nasty, hissing little bastage!
