Went to the river around 6:30 tons of flies on the water, I think they were sulphers, not a fish on them any where and a few large mayflies floating like sailboats without a touch. Fished my soft hackle hares ear for about an hour with only one swirl. switched to a black bead head woolly bugger and landed 3 browns a brookie and a bow in an hour. also lost 2 that were hooked and had 3 other misses. Not another fisherman in sight, Gotta love the non-stocking days!
