Pemberton Lake 5/7
 

Hit Pemberton Lake this morning hoping we would have good fishing althoguh I was doubtful. The water was dirty but we finally had some decent fishing. Fished there from 5:30 to 10:30. We combined for 36 bass, perch, crappies,sunfish, pickeral, and brook trout(only one though). We caught fish on several different lures, including topwater at first light:D . The brook trout hit a Mr. Twister. We fished the entire lake today and it didn't seem like there was a particular area that produced the best. A good morning of fishing, especially considering the poor fishing we there so far this year.

Sounds like the fish are pretty well spread out, between the dirty water and the lake turning over. How many trout did the State put in there ?

Around 700 intially. They probaly picked most of those out within the first week. Still tough there trout wise. Was catching trout pretty well into June last year there.
