Monday on the Musky - 4/25
The water was high and rippin pretty good, but it was only slightly stained. Took my 25 year old son with me for the first time this year, hes on spring break. We fished size 2 spinners all day and landed 43 trout, a mix of bows, brookies and one brown. I got 28 of them and a 19 inch brownie for the pool winner. The fish are well spread out and if the water level and rate ever lessens it will be unbelieveable fishing. All fish returned to fight again.

Nice job!!...i was tempted to go over there on easter but feared high water..hit the pequaknock river and the wanaque instead since its closer caught 9 bows in the peq and 2bows and 2 brook in the wanaque which was a little dirty(pompton lakes area)..all on powerbait....but again comgrats to you and your son lets us guys know that theres plenty over still with all the rain..any one going trout fishing tomorrow?

Re: Monday on the Musky - 4/25
I need to hit the Musky...bad! This rain has killed my fishing time. Resorted to hitting a local "puddle" that was stocked on Friday, only to catch catfish! Hopefully Sat, rain or shine, I'll be able to sneak out for a while.
