Easter Bunny Trout

After completing the honey-do list for company coming for Easter dinner at 4:30 pm. AKA: Peeling potatoes, vacuuming the entire first floor, dusting furniture, etc. I lost it indoors and headed to the South Branch at 1:00 pm. Water was high and discolored but fishable. Caught four brookies and a rainbow in nine cast with my favorite bait. Butterworms. I said it before, these extra large butterworms I get from a west coast supplier are the ticket for trout when they are finicky. I looked at the ones at a local bait store. They were very small and at $6.50 for 24, a rip-off. Try elliotsbutterworms.com I love the butterworms I get from him. Much cheaper. They stay in the refrigerator for months with-out turning colors. Tell him you are a member of NJFishing.com and he'll throw in some extras at no charge. He is getting 30,000 Tuesday.
I have gotten many positive feedbacks from fishermen I gave butterworms to that I met streamside. Most never heard of a butterworm. They are imported from Chile. Check them out on any internet search engine. I guarantee you will catch plenty of fish on them.
