Gefilte Fishing Tomorrow?

My wife wants me to pick some up for the seder.

Are any boats targeting them tomorrow?
:)

Just go to your nearest mudhole and spear your own carp. Or pay a kid $5 for his fish.

Ling do have scales, and are kosher! They are called "Pink ling" on this list, but I understand you are good to go with ling!

I remember as a kid going to the Lower East Side with my grandparetns . First stop was the fish market where my granmother who pick out a live carp from the tank and the guy would whack it over the head with a bat. Next stop was the Manischewtiz warehourse where my grandfather would sample different batches of wine until he found the ones he wanted for the perfect blend. Then when we got home, helping my grandfather make home made horseradish (hotter than anything you could find today--DELICIOUS !!).
