2 opening days for trout ?

What if New Jersey had 2 opening days for the start of the season ?

Below Rt. 78 opening day would be say April 9th, above Rt. 78 opening day for trout season would be April 16th ?

In Pennsy - Harrisburg, PA – Anglers from 18 southeastern counties are gearing up for the April 2 opening of trout, which marks the unofficial start of fishing season.
April 16 is the traditional opening day for the rest of the state.

New Jersey is ALOT smaller than Pennsylvania!

Would this work in New Jersey. (some waters run very close to Rt. 78) Would I-195 be better ?

Now thats an interesting scenario, are we taking elevations and the fact that sussex county is the coldest area in NJ? What about south of I-80 April 2 and north the following week?!?! I dont know, its a good question! Got me thinking!

Just get a PA license. Then you can fish three opening days...PA1, NJ, PA2.

One more thing...Opening day sucks. Why would you want two of them?
