OCEAN FLUKE REPORT, MONDAY SEPTEMBER 01,2025

Hey Gang,

We set sail with a light crowd of regulars for our Monday Marathon trip. "Labor" certainly was the word of the day because we really had to put the work in today to get the job done.

Conditions were certainly fishable but not very comfortable. There were very few options so we stayed in the ocean and let the fares do what they came to do, fish.

Picked a couple of keepers on the first drift with a few shorts. Set up on the second drift and Oman from Randolph NJ landed a fat 10lb on the button flattie! Star Gary also landed a nice 5.8lb fish too.

There were a handful of limits landed onboard and a nice spread around the boat of quality fish landed.

Back at it again in the AM, sailing 07:30. See you on the dock.

Congrats on the doormat! I believe that's 2nd of the season for The Prowler!
