OCEAN FLUKE REPORT SUNDAY AUGUST 17, 2025

Hey Gang,

We sailed with a nice crowd of Sunday regulars along with some new folks too which I'm sure will be back again.

I had a plan this morning before we left the dock but something was telling me to check out an area on the way and I'm sure glad we did. Blew the horn for the first drift and had immediate keepers coming over the rail. We worked the small area all day picking away at keepers and solid short life until it was time to head in. It certainly wasn't the easiest fishing having to work the boat all day but it sure did pay off in the end.

Multiple fares with limits landed, high hook had 6 (orl) of quality fish up to 7lbs and the usual sea bass in the mix. Just shy of 50 keepers landed onboard today.

Looks like we will be tied up with the pending weather forecast for tomorrow but will be fishing the rest of the week.
