A short kind of a day!
Left the barn and greated to the flattest seas of the year. Went straight south to start off at the RS. Very little drift and picked away at fat but short fluke. Worked our way back north fishing some #'s and once again fat but short fluke and real big knucklehead sea bass. Some were over 3 lbs. Hit the MB area same deal. Jigged a few blues and moved on.This was my first trip in years without catching a keeper. Plenty of action all day and the highlight was a cownose ray which gave a hell of a fight. All in all a fun day just no keeper fluke. It's always great to be on the water no matter what! Tightlines!
